The Ordering Process
We try to make our ordering process as simple as possible for you. You don’t want to waste time and energy remembering passwords and log in details.
Our checkout process is speedy and easy to navigate. From putting something in your basket to paying for your items. The process won’t take any more than a few minutes.
Once you’ve placed your order, you should receive an order confirmation. Don’t forget to check your spam folder if nothing comes through.
If you don’t receive an order confirmation, just send us a message on Facebook or give us a call and we will look into it for you.
Once we have received your order, we will place the order with our suppliers. We don’t actually keep a hold of stock for the majority of the items listed on our website. This allows us to have more items available on our website for our customers.
Depending on what you’ve ordered, your items could take anywhere up to about 10 weeks. Likewise you could receive it within a few days. It just depends on what you’ve ordered.
Each product listing has a guide time for delivery to give you a better idea of how long your order will take.
Once your order is ready for delivery, the courier will contact you (usually via text message or email) to provide you with the details of your delivery.
Due to the nature of furniture delivery, we will usually only be able to tell you a day, rather than a specific time slot. This is down to the difficulties in delivering large items.
Please be prepared to arrange for someone to be home to receive your delivery.
Please note: The courier will only deliver items to ground floor entrances.
It’s not uncommon for consumers to be met with hidden costs when they come to the point of purchase. This is especially true when buying furniture. Shipping furniture comes with many problems as products can often be very large and very heavy. We believe it is unfair for customers to face astronomical delivery charges. Because of this, we have a site-wide policy of free delivery to select post codes.
That’s right, you heard us correctly: Free delivery on all furniture on our website!
It’s very unusual for online furniture retailers to offer free delivery, especially on every possible product. This is something that sets us apart from the rest. While the prices on our website are already extremely competitive, when you consider that the delivery cost is included, we definitely stand out from our peers.
Depending on what you order, we choose from a number of select couriers. Once it’s time for delivery, we will organise a suitable date when you will be home to receive the items.
Please ensure you or someone else will be home on the day we agree on for delivery.
As furniture items are normally costly, heavy and large, we cannot leave them safe anywhere.
For this reason it is very important that someone is in to receive the items, or that you agree a plan for a neighbour to accept them beforehand.
We understand people have to work and can’t always be home, and that’s why we will do everything we can to hold your items until you find a suitable time to accept them.
How long will my delivery take?
- That depends entirely on the product(s) you have ordered. Some items will take longer than others. Bespoke items coming from Europe will take upwards of 10 weeks, whereas a bed we have in stock at our warehouse will only take a few days. Depending on the supplier it can fall anywhere in between a few days and 10 weeks.
Where is my order?
- If you have been waiting longer than the guide time for delivery, get in touch and we can give you an update. If the item you ordered says it will take 4-6 weeks, please don’t contact us after two weeks as we won’t have any more information for you. We will keep you posted whenever we have updates about your order.
Please note that the delivery time we quote on each product refers to working days only.
Once you receive your item
Once you have received your items, please confirm that you have received your full order and check thoroughly for damages. If you find any damage to the product, you must take note of these immediately on the delivery note and contact us as soon as possible.
This will help us to put our claim forward to our suppliers and resolve your problems as quickly as possible.
Post codes which incur a charge
The following post codes will incur an excess charge for delivery. The charge will be added at checkout when you enter your post code and applies to the following post codes, as well as the highlands and islands of the United Kingdom: ZE, BT, PH, HS, IM, PA, KY, KW, IV, HS, FK, DD, AB
There is an additional delivery charge for Northern Ireland which will be added at the checkout.
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to the Republic of Ireland at this time.
